REVIEW

I used the textbook for teaching a intro-level database class at a university. This book was a life saver. It explains things very well and I don’t have to worry too much about coming up with homework and exam questions because there are plenty of exercises in the book (and in the test bank if you have access to instructor resources). I would definitely recommend it to an undergraduate database course.

I think the first few chapters were the most important. Really goes into detail about the entity relational model, and ERD diagrams.

I would be using this book for my database class. I really like the way the book looks and it’s brand new. Great value and great product.

Very good book about database systems. It was well written and gives detailed examples of each concept. This book definitely contributed to my passing grade.

Great source for an introduction to databases and all their related parts. The book includes great explanations and real world examples to get points across. It is well written and concise.

Highly recommended. Especially for beginner, well organized topics. so far I read 4 chapters, I totally got the idea about database. I am going to step in SQL next week. Let see
